Great Sandwich!! First time here, and the sandwich was awesome! I got the Italian combo that everyone seems to love and boy was I in agreement!! This was a great sandwich. Have not found a ton of great sandwiches in LA. I remember the great Hoagies in Philly, and haven't found many places here to match. Roll was nice and crispy, the meats were tasty, the fixin's inside totally complimented the sandwich. I loved it! Want to go back and get another sandwich and try another one too.

Love their cakes and treats! Parking is a challenge and many times it gets busy. Just remember to grab a number and wait until your number is called so you can take time to make your orders. Ambiance is busy most days. Call in advance and place your orders so it's faster.

I discovered these cookies at my Italian friend's wedding and instantly became a fan. We visited during Easter weekend and were shocked to see long lines in the rain. Locals were grabbing numbers as they entered and proceeding to order 6-8 dozen cookies each! We received friendly recommendations and especially enjoyed the pistachio cookies. The pistachio cannoli's, tiramisu, and white chocolate cereal cluster like things were also delicious. There are no signs indicating what each item is so we missed out on trying the bread or sandwiches, but we'll definitely try those next time. The shop seems to have manyyy repeat customers and small charming touches like the Italian paper on the counter for anyone. Can't wait for my next visit!

Literally just stopped by here this afternoon, had a random craving for Italian rainbow cookies that came this week and luckily found this bakery nearby. It was a good amount of busy for the weekend but the line and staff were moving efficiently while being attentive to each of the customers. Right when you get in, pick a number and if you don't, they're remind you too. That detail to me is important. I got a large italian sub and it was so good and I got a few cookies. My least fave was the coconut macaron but still a great cookie and worth getting if you have a craving. But the rest, rainbow, pistachio and shortbread and raspberry filling were *chef's kiss* very tasty. Crumbly, cakey, nutty and good flavor. Definitely coming back and happy to have this spot in my back pocket to choose from when I have a craving.

Best Italian sandwiches Eva! Fugghedaboutit! Been coming here for years. I always get my favorite sandwich - large capacollla, extra mayo, hold the mustard. Maddon! Bread is crisp and fresh and the deli is full of meats. Lots of imported stuff from Italy to choose from, from perishables to non perishables. Lots of snacks, too. Italians love their nibbles. The bakery is especially good for their eclaires and canollis. Lots to choose from: cookies, custards, biscotti, you name it. Gets crowded at times, especially during lunch, but just go and grab a number and wait. Oh, and parking kinda sucks, since it's a high traffic area on Colorado in the middle of Silver Rock. I mean Eagle Rock. Maddon! FYI, for the big Sons of Anarchy fans, a lot of scenes from the last season were shot inside the bakery. Go see for yourself! Fugghedaboutit!

My husband got me a tres leches cake for my birthday last week. This was one of their most recent additions to their toolbox of cakes. The cake itself was great. The frosting was a little sweet. Because the cake is already pretty sweet, it can bear having a less sweet frosting, in my opinion. I would say that compared to other tres leches cakes around, Porto's being number one (despite their less than frosting) and Whole Foods second (better frosting than Porto's- not as sweet), this would rank up there. I might have to do another tasting side by side. :)

There are many sandwiches in Los Angeles, some would say....too many sandwiches, so why should you get a sandwich from Eagle Rock Italian Bakery & Deli? Because it's the best sandwich. I don't think I have had a sandwich this good here before (I'm even saying that yes, it's better than Bay Cities, controversial? Maybe? But it's like, my opinion). Anyways. I got the spicy calabrese sandwich with the works on it and it's just like a harmony of texture and flavors. The meat is incredibly thin and flavorful, and the toppings just compliment it really nicely. Add a crunchy bread and man you've got it made. I might actually get a sandwich today now because writing this review is making me hungry all over again.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! I'm obsessed! Eagle Rock Italian Bakery is chefs kiss. I've tried cannolis all around LA and I gotta say, the pistachio cannoli here is absolutely amazing. The custard is incredibly creamy and flavorful, while the shell provides the perfect amount of crispy crunch. They offer a wide variety of cookies that will take some time to try, but every treat I've tasted so far has been delicious. From the classic Italian cookies to unique treats, they have it all! But this place is more than just a bakery; it's a full-on deli with an impressive selection of fresh meats, cheeses, breads, and a tempting array of olive oils. The Italian is a must try! And don't forget to check out their homemade pizza dough in the back. Be sure to grab a number upon arrival, as this popular spot tends to get quite busy. They have an old-school style that adds to the unique charm of the place. When you reach the counter, the staff is attentive and happy to explain the flavors and qualities of each cookie. I highly recommend trying this place out if only for the cannolis. You won't be disappointed.
